Welcome

Will Rogers District, Last Frontier Council, Oklahoma

Welcome to the Will Rogers District Website. We hope your visit here is informative and enjoyable. We hope this site will become the primary communications vehicle for information about the Scouting program in our district to our members, volunteers and those interested in finding out about the program.

The Will Rogers District serves the youth of Canadian County and the town of Bethany in Oklahoma County. We currently have units active in Peidmont, Yukon, Mustang, El Reno, Bethany, and Union City.

Invatation to help

Would you like to brag about an event or campout you unit participated in? Would you like to post some pictures? Will you help make this site a place for all to get information and see what other units are doing? Please help out. I do not have the time to handle all of this my self and extra help would be appreciated. Just ask and we will see what we can do. Help make this a this site a top site for scouting information.

Drop in, wander around and see what is here and available. Then come back later to see what is new. Make sure you give us feedback about what other things you would like to see included.

Future plans

One thing I am thinking of adding to this page is a 7 day local forecast and link to the National Weather Service Point forecasts which are specific by town and state or zipcode. I have already added links and a page for the District Newsletter, The Will Rogers Gallop, and the District Executive's weekly updates. I will keep past newsletters and updates on file for reference.
